How much does a replacement Airpod cost?

Apple’s wireless Airpods & AirPods Pro have revolutionized music by being high-quality, sleek and portable earbuds. The first generation was very well received and since then many improvements have been made with the release of the 2nd Generation buds and Pro models with silicon ear tips.

The charging case is also quite the innovation and has definitely inspired many other brands and product makers to follow suit by offering a similar concept. Simply pop your AirPods out of the case and start listening.

While these improvements and features are great for the users, one problem remains that affects many — the (inevitable) need to replace an Airpod (or both) or your Charging case at some point and the associated costs.

It happens to the best of us

It’s possible you simply lost your left or right side Airpod or charging case which happens to the best of us, while other scenarios that we’ve heard of include things like:

  • Dog chewed an Airpod
  • Dropped AirPods in water or pool
  • Airpods went into the Washing machine
  • Stepped or rolled onto AirPods
  • Stolen AirPods
  • Damaged AirPods
  • Dead battery
  • Charging case is not charging / Wireless Charging Case won’t charge anymore

If one of these resonates with you, you know how frustrating it can be to be left with only a partial set. In which case, you may be looking at all your options to get that set back together, but there are a few things to consider.

What about AppleCare+ or the Limited Warranty?

You may be heartbroken to find out that the cost required to replace lost or stolen AirPods is not covered by AppleCare+ for Headphones or the limited warranty upon purchase. This means you will likely need to fork out the full price for each piece + shipping or run to the Apple store to get a new pair.

What’s the Process

The process involves having to log in with your Apple ID, something not all AirPods owners have linked to their product, especially if they were purchased from the original owner or if they use their AirPods primarily on non-Apple devices such as Android Phones and Laptops / Tablets. You may also need to provide the serial number or purchase confirmation for your AirPods.

AirPod Case Replacement Cost

The AirPods charging case is great because it allows you to charge the left and right AirPod multiple times on the go. However, if the case for AirPods or AirPods Pro isn’t holding a good charge anymore or if you simply lost it, you may want to consider getting a replacement right away. You can get an AirPod case replacement for the 1st, 2nd and Pro generations with both Wireless and Wired options (based on Generation).

AirPods Pro Replacement Cost

The AirPods pro are great with new features like the active noise cancellation made possible by silicon ear tips. This also makes them more expensive to replace if you chose to get a completely new set or out-of-warranty exchange. But replacing these doesn’t have to be complicated, as we have both the Left Airpods Pro and Right AirPods Pro pieces, and the Wireless Charging Case.

AirPod Replacement Cost (1st/2nd Gen)

The 1st and 2nd Generation AirPods are very good products even if they have been out for a couple of years. For the 1st and 2nd Gen AirPods we have both the Right piece, Left piece and both Charging cases. Do note as we did above that the wired charging case (A1602) is compatible with both generations.

Battery Service or AirPods Replacement?

Like all battery operated electronics, AirPods and the AirPods case are susceptible to a depleting battery life over time. In some cases, you may want to seek out a shop that offers battery service and pay a service fee — thing is, if you know something happened to your buds or charging case. for example you left them in your pocket and they went in the washing machine, there may be more than just the battery that’s not working properly; you likely have damaged AirPods.

A battery service shop would not necessarily be able to tell if something is wrong with your AirPod or charging case —So you could always opt for replacement AirPods and save the trouble.

How long will it take?

All our AirPods and AirPods Pro parts ship within 2-3 days or your order being placed. If you are located in the U.S. you will receive your replacement AirPods fairly quickly through USPS.

If you are located outside the U.S. like Canada or even the Philippines, the time will vary based on International carriers.

Do you offer any Warranty?

Every AirPods part or charging case we sell comes with a 30-day, hassle-free warranty period. The warranty date starts the day after the tracking shows delivered to you or attempted delivery was made based on the tracking info from the postal carrier and the warranty will expire on the 31st day with no exceptions, unless holidays which will extend to the very next day.

This warranty service is only for AirPods parts deemed defective, this does not include parts ordered due to the wrong compatibility or not needed anymore, if a part or charging case is returned working or not in the same sanitized condition- the return will be voided and your part will be returned; a 35$ fee will be applied.

Do you charge a service fee?

The only cost to you is the price of the AirPods or AirPods Pro part or charging case that you choose, we do not charge a service fee.

Can you order these AirPods parts to use with a Replica AirPods set?

The Authentic Apple AirPods replacements will not work with replica Airpods. We do not recommend that anyone use the replica models due to safety issues, such as overheating.

If you currently have a replica set, we highly encourage you to consider ordering a full set from our site, which will be less than a brand new set but will guarantee the Apple quality of your product.

Replica AirPods don’t provide the same sound quality either, which for many is a huge deal as they listen to music during work, their workouts or just to chill out.
